The school of the sea

The stern deck of the Agulhas II is a hive of activity! Researchers are all too happy to present their work to HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco. The youngest researchers are not the shyest.

They’ve been able to get on board and learn about science in the field. Some of them come from the Seychelles archipelago and Mauritius.

Training students and young researchers in the field has also been one of the other priorities of Explorations de Monaco. The on-board school is one of the essential pillars of this mission, in the eyes of Robert Calcagno.
