Sharing to protect

Monaco Explorations is a platform for H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco’s commitment to knowledge, sustainable management and protection of the ocean. Education is one of the pillars of this commitment, and one of the objectives of Monaco Explorations is to share the message of knowledge and protection of the Ocean with as many people as possible, and at different levels.

The Seychelles, Reunion and Mauritius were just two examples of this, raising awareness of the need to protect the Ocean and passing on knowledge to the younger generation.

Another form of mediation and knowledge transfer: Gilles Bessero, mission leader, presents Mauritian officials with an initial assessment of the mission. The scientific results will provide them with invaluable decision-making tools. 22_11_2022©Melissa Habbas_MonacoExplorations
